Ramadhaan Focus (PART1)

Strive to learn your Islam from the Book of your Lord and the Sunnah of your Prophet. Do not say, So-and-so said, for you cannot learn the truth only from men. Learn the truth and then measure people against it. This should be enough for the one who controls his whims and submits himself to his Lord. Three Common Mistakes made after Prayer

Image
Three Common Mistakes made after Prayer Short Description: Three Common Mistakes made after Prayer are part of the great book of shaikh Mash-hoor Hasan Salmaan (Al-Fasl-ul-Mubeen Fee Akhtaa-il-Musalleen). 1. Greeting and Shaking Hands after Prayer: [1] Abu Hurairah ( radyAllaahu 'anhu ) reported that the Prophet ( sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam ) said : "If one of you meets his brother, then he should greet him with Salaam. Then if a tree or a wallor a rock should come between the two of them and then he meets him again, he should greet him with Salaam again." [2] In this hadeeth, the Prophet ( sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam ) has commanded the Muslims, when any of them encounters his Muslim brother to greet him with Salaam. This is because of what the greeting consists of from the growth of unity, eradication of hatred and the bringing about of love. The command in this hadeeth is only a recommendation, meaning it is strongly advised and encouraged, and not oblig...

Sun Will Rise from the West One day....................

Image
*Sun Will Rise From The West One Day..!!!* *(Scientific Proof)* *As the strong belief of we muslims is that when the sun will rise from west rather than east, that time will be the biggest identity of The Day Of Judgement (Qayamah). And the door of Forgiveness will be closed on that day. * *The science of astronomy states that the speed of planet Mars has been decreasing in its course towards the eastern direction in the few past weeks to the level we notice the 'waver' between the east and the west..and on Wednesday the 30th of July the planet movement stopped going toward the eastern direction..!!! * *Then in the months of August and September...Mars changed its course in the opposite direction to the West- and that until the end of September..which means the sun will rise now from the west on Mars!! * *And this weird phenomena of the opposite movement called 'Retrograde Motion' Most scientist state that all the planets will go through the same once at least and our p...

Rajab and Sha' baan dua

Image
" O you who believe! Fear Allah as HE should be feared, and do not die except in a state of Islam. " Siddeeqa Rajab is the seventh month of the lunar calender. this month is reguarded as one of the sacred months (Al- ashur-al-hurum) in which battles were prohibited in the days of the Prophet (s.a.w) It also preludes the month of Ramadhan, because Ramadhan follows it after the intervening month of Sha'baan. therefore when the holy Prophet (s.a.w) sighted the moon of Rajab He used to pray to Allah in the following words. " ALLAHUMA BAARIK -LANA FI RAJABA WA-SHA'BAANA WAL BAL- LIGHNA RAMADAANA " OH ALLAH MAKE THE MONTH OF RAJAB AND SHA'BAAN BLESSED FOR US AND LET US REACH THE MONTH OF RAMADHAN (i.e prolong our life up to ramadaan so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings.) We too should take the opportunity of reading this dua often in the month of Rajab and Sha'baan.

The Debt We Owe to Religion

Image
The Debt We Owe to Religion By: Ibrahim N. Abusharif The Arabic word commonly translated as "religion" is deen . "Religion" is a fairly good translation, but as many will point out, there is a problem in the modern idea of religion that diminishes the value of the word for this translation. (This is a linguistic argument, not a point to make against modernity.) Religion has come to mean different things because of secular cultural pressure, a common influence in definitions: Religion may mean certain hollow rites that people do during certain seasons of the year; or peculiar acts taken over by culture or family pressure, although they once were connected to devotion; or charming involvement with some vague tradition, with shades of transcending meaning or none at all, stuff that add color to how we live. The relationship of religion binding with the unseen and the Hereafter has become almost vestigial. That really creates a translation problem for deen (although ...

THE HISTORY OF ZAM-ZAM WATER

THE HISTORY OF ZAM-ZAM WA TE R - P ART 1 ZAM-ZAM Water is a refreshing, sweet, pleasant tasting, easy digestible, boundlessly blessed, virtuous and honourable water. It enjoys such blessings and virtues, which no other water can be compared to. Basis of nomenclature: The word 'zam-zam' originates from the word 'zumaazim', for which the following is recorded as its meanings: "Excessive water, far-reaching humming sound, the gathering of a scattered thing, to protect, the water of zam-zam or zam-zaam or zuwaa- zim is the mixture of sweet and brackish water." (Lisaanul Arab, vol. 12, page 275) In the initial stages of this well, a far-reaching humming sound could be heard, hence the name 'Zam-Zam'. According to lmaam Nawawi (rahrnatullahi alaih), the name 'Zam-Zam' was given owing to the excessiveness and large quantity of the water, because the words: 'Zam-Zam','Zam-Zoom' and 'Zamaa-Zirn' are said at the ti...
